India's Women's Vertical of BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) WE has partnered with Nippon Paint India for the BRICS CCI WE Global Women Leadership Programme from 2024-25. The initiative aims to empower women leaders from BRICS nations, promote gender equality in leadership roles, and foster growth in diverse sectors. The program will provide mentorship, training, resources, and opportunities to bridge the gender gap in leadership positions, encourage innovation, and strengthen women's representation in various sectors.
The programme, run in hybrid mode with weekly sessions, aims to enhance leadership skills, foster global connections, and provide insights from professionals. Nippon Paint India, a key partner for 2024-25, will mentor the program and incubate startups through their leadership programme annually specifically for women-led businesses. Nippon Paint India's Director, Sharad Malhotra, has been appointed as the esteemed Programme Mentor, demonstrating Nippon's commitment to women's empowerment and annual startup incubation.
The Global Women Leadership Programme aims to enhance women's managerial and entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to take on business, government, and non-profit leadership roles. The program will provide mentorship opportunities, networking, and promoting gender diversity in business, It will connect women with successful global leaders and industry experts, encourage collaboration, and have a global impact.
