NCPA & Axis Bank Celebrate Women's Day with Special Poetry Reading by IAS Officers

In celebration of International Women's Day, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), in collaboration with Axis Bank, revives its iconic Chauraha tradition with a special presentation: “Chauraha - A Night of Multilingual Poetry by Women Bureaucrats”. The event will feature distinguished IAS officers sharing their journeys through a blend of leadership and lyrical expression. The open-air evening aims to highlight the unique voices and experiences of women in bureaucracy through poetry.
This event highlights how leadership goes beyond administration and connects with art. senior women bureaucrats will share poetry celebrating India's diverse culture and language. Set in Tata Garden, the event showcases the journey of women leaders. The revival of NCPA's Chauraha tradition reaffirms its commitment to fostering creative dialogue through the arts.
Dr. Sujata Jadhav, Head of NCPA's Reference Library, expressed excitement about reviving the Chauraha tradition. She said, "This event gives senior IAS officers a platform to share their leadership journeys through poetry. We're grateful to Axis Bank for supporting this special initiative, and we hope it sparks conversations about women and the arts."
