Nafis signs Cooperation Agreement with UAE Gender Balance Council

With the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, a signing event was held between Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) and the UAE Gender Balance Council.
The event took place regarding a cooperation agreement which happened in Abu Dhabi during the Annual Meetings 2024 of UAE Government. With an intent to boost Emirati women’s participation in private sector, the agreement has been made and it will use joint initiatives for the same.
The agreement has been signed by Secretary General of Nafis Ghannam Al Mazrouei alongside UAE Gender Balance Council Vice President Mona Ghanem Al Marri during the event, intending to enhance partnership between the parties, assisting Emirati women for their roles in private sector.
H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the role of the agreement while expressing pride for the same. Underling the role, she said this agreement will advance leadership opportunities for Emirati women.
Ghannam Al Mazrouei has emphasised the importance of gender diversity stating about the private sector. He also noted that this alliance shall carry key objectives of Emiratisation efforts, stating, “We are proud of this partnership, which aims to promote gender diversity and empower women in leadership positions.”
