Mylab Enters Women's Category with Self Pregnancy Test Kit 'PregaScreen'

Mylab Discovery Solutions has introduced the 'PregaScreen' at-home pregnancy test kit, which allows women to determine their pregnancy status on their own.

The company's foray into the female healthcare area is marked by the debut of the test kit. In the following months, it plans to launch a variety of goods in this category.

PregaScreen, which costs Rs 55, is a test that allows women to confirm their pregnancy after missing their first period. This at-home fast test kit, which can be obtained over-the-counter from local pharmacies across India, offers findings in just a few minutes with 99.99 percent accuracy.

A pregnancy kit tool and a dropper are included in each kit. “We have entered the female healthcare segment in line with the company’s strategy of offering affordable value-added products for its consumers, Debarshi Dey, marketing director of Mylab Discovery Solutions, said of the launch.  "At-home pregnancy test is a highly preferred method among women for pregnancy detection as it is cost effective, pretty accurate, delivers results in a matter of minutes and can be done in the privacy of their homes,” Dey explained.
