- The appointment is intended to add strength to the company’s management
- Rachna will be responsible for the Finance business area, which includes governance, planning, capital management, and profitability
MMTC-PAMP has announced that it has appointed Rachna Jindal as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as part of its efforts to strengthen its leadership structure.
Rachna has more than 25 years of experience in finance, treasury, supply chain, as well as business transformation. In her new position, Jindal will be heading the Finance function at MMTC-PAMP, with responsibilities that include financial governance, strategic planning, capital management, as well as profitability.
She will be reporting to Samit Guha, Managing Director & CEO, MMTC-PAMP. Jindal will also be heading the Supply Chain function.
Commenting on her new position, Samit said that Jindal’s experience in finance, supply chain, as well as business transformation, with exposure to manufacturing, consumer business, as well as multinational corporations, is expected to add value to governance, supply chain as well as business growth.
Rachna said that she is looking forward to working with the leadership team to strengthen financial frameworks, as well as operational efficiencies, with MMTC-PAMP’s next phase of growth aligning with MMTC-PAMP’s focus on governance, transparency, as well as innovation.
Prior to joining MMTC-PAMP, Jindal worked as CFO and Supply Chain Head – India at Yara International, focusing on financial governance, audit, and analytics framework, as well as supply chain-related activities.
Prior to this, she was the CFO at Farmley, with exposure to e-commerce, omni-channel distribution, fundraising, debt financing, etc.
She was also the Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounts, at Jindal Poly Films Limited, a company that is a part of the BC Jindal Group, with responsibilities that included capital restructuring, fundraising, ESG, acquisitions, etc.
Rachna has been with Pernod Ricard India for close to 14 years, with various leadership roles in finance, including supply chain and manufacturing finance operations. She has also worked with Honda and Alcatel.
She is a Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from the University of Delhi. Apart from her professional pursuits, Jindal is the State President, Haryana, at the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).
