MGM Healthcare, a Chennai-based super-specialty quaternary care hospital has announced the launch of the future of women’s healthcare services under the brand name ‘Varam’. This brand will be a dedicated women’s super-specialty center that will combine the values that MGM Healthcare stands for with cutting-edge technology and unparalleled care. Encompassing everything from adolescent health, gynaecological health, obstetric services to menopausal health and gynaec-oncology, Varam strives to be the one-stop center for comprehensive and holistic care the city needs. ‘Varam’ aims to deliver exceptional healthcare for women of all ages with abundant empathy, expertise and excellence.
‘Varam’ was inaugurated by celebrity actors Jyothika and Suriya in the presence of Dr. Urjitha Rajagopalan (Director, MGM Healthcare), Dr. Arcot Jaishree Gajaraj (Senior Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Dr. Dakshayani R (Senior Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Dr. Veda Padma Priya S (Senior Consultant, Breast Oncology and Oncoplasty) and other delegates.
Talking on the occasion, Dr. Urjitha Rajagopalan, Director, MGM Healthcare stated, “Today, we have over 3,000+ Gynaecologists, 300+ maternity hospitals and 50+ multi-specialty hospitals in the city of Chennai alone. However, not many hospitals can provide comprehensive healthcare services specifically for women of all ages.
