Madhur Shahi Joins Times Network as Zonal Head

Times Network has named Madhur Shahi as Associate Vice President and Zonal Head of Times Influence – Revenue. In her new role, she will focus on business growth through strategic partnerships, branded content, integrated media solutions, and IP-based opportunities. Based in Mumbai, she will report to Rajesh Madampath, while the BCA team in Mumbai will report directly to her.

Madhur brings more than 20 years of experience in media sales, branded content, business development, and strategic partnerships. Her career spans television, digital, print, events, and integrated media platforms.

Before joining Times Network, Madhur served as Group Lead – West at NDTV Network from June 2024. In this role, she managed content strategy, events, brand collaborations, sponsorships, IP monetization, and strategic partnerships across the Western region.

It is Madhur's homecoming to the Times Network. Before that she worked for almost nine years in Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., running key category and corporate accounts and being a key contributor in building and expanding the integrated media business and key properties.

She has also worked in many roles at Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd., VJM Media Pvt. Ltd. and TV Live India Pvt. Ltd. in the past.

Times Network states that his expertise around the media ecosystem, along with his extensive experience in the branded content and integrated solutions space and his relationship-building prowess with clients and agencies is likely to help the network in its next phase of expansion.  

Madhur's previous appointment with Times Network involved working with the key category and corporate accounts, while simultaneously helping the company build and grow its integrated media business and key properties for nearly nine years with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd.

Madhur has also served in leadership and business development positions at Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd., VJM Media Pvt. Ltd. and TV Live India Pvt. Ltd. which have further enhanced her business development and media sales capabilities, as well as her skills in branded content, partnerships and business development.

In a statement, Times Network noted that Madhur had a deep knowledge of the media environment and good client and agency relations. This is expected to provide the network with valuable expertise in branded content, integrated media solutions and IP monetization, which will bolster its products and enable its expansion.
