To inspire women in entrepreneurship, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is organising Women Startup Summit 3.0 in December, by facilitating their participation in three sections: Innovation Challenge, Investor Café and Hackathon.
In the December 15-16 summit, the winners of the Innovation Challenge will receive a grant of ₹5 lakh. With one or more women as the principal stakeholders, applicants should be Indian start-ups. The startups should also have generated a feasible product model. The startups should have the KSUM’s unique ID and must be registered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
The last date for filling out the applications is November 30 at https://bit.ly/WomenInnovationGrant. The winning entrepreneurs will be eligible for soft loans of up to ₹15 lakh and seed funds, besides the ₹5 lakh grant.
For existing startups, the investment will be promoted by Investor Café. To further strengthen their business, the summit will provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to directly interact with investors.
The winning women entrepreneurs will be eligible for a three-month pre-incubation at the KSUM or internship at Ernst & Young for Hackathon, which will be a hybrid event with both online and offline sessions.
