Khelo India Women's Weightlifting & Cycling competitions to be held in February

The Patliputra Sports Complex, Kankarbagh, Patna will host the Khelo India National Ranking Women Weightlifting Competition for Senior, Junior & Youth Women (3rd Phase) from February 18–24. The women's competitions are held as part of Khelo India Sports for Women, a key initiative of the Indian government.
The Directorate of Sports and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports provide funding for these competitions. Three women's weightlifting competitions will receive a total of Rs. 1.47 crore, including Rs. 48.3 lakh each for the top eight weightlifters in each of the 10 weight categories across all age divisions.
The third phase of the weightlifting league will include over 400 lifters in Patna. The second national tournament for women weightlifters in the Khelo India Youth, Junior, and Senior National Rankings was held at the R.N. Resort in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
It was the second of three tournaments; the first was held in June 2022 at the Rainbow International School in Nagrota Bagwan, Himachal Pradesh. The West Zone, South Zone, and North Zones of the country are all slated to hold numerous Track and Road Cycling events this month.

19th to 20th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- West Zone (Road Event) – Gujarat’s Surat.
21st to 22nd Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- West Zone (Road Event) - Gujarat’s Baroda
23rd to 24th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- West Zone (Road Event) - Gujarat’s Ahmedabad
25th to 26th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- West Zone (Road Event) - Punjab’s Atari Toll tax
25th to 26th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- South Zone (Track Event) - Vijaynagar
26th to 27th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- West Zone (Track Event) - Rajasthan’s Jaipur.
27th to 28th Feb 2023: Khelo India Women Cycling League- North Zone (Track Event) - Punjab’s Amritsar
