Kerastase & Aspire for Her team up to Empower Women through Power Talks

Kerastase, the luxury hair care brand in India has recently launched the Indian version of the ‘Power Talks’, a powerful campaign by the company to support the cause of women empowerment throughout the world. Without a doubt stemmed from Kerastase’s mission of the brand for the new environmental sustainable and social responsible era following the stars mission of reforming the definition of beauty as well as empowering women and the care for the environment.

As a market leader in the Indian luxury hair care segment, Kerastase has been experiencing high levels of effectiveness across the 50 cities comprising more than 650 point of sales and e-commerce platforms. Kerastase is based on the hashtags #youdarewecare that reflects the brand’s work of creating hair care products to make women more beautiful and the mission to deliver products that women require.

Kerastase is not only a brand that focuses solely on hair; it was founded in France in 1964 to meet the need of beauty and associated grooming services. To add the real value and advance the brand, Power Talks is an opportunity to set a new level of promo and be leaders in the fight for women’s rights and equality in the world. Power Talks is a very deliberately designed talk show, it does not attempt to do anything else, it wants the empowered women in a positive social change come forth and be confident in empowering other women in workplaces and otherwise

In India, Kerastase worked with one of the leading NGO, Aspire For Her, which aims at providing women employment opportunities to ensure that they are actively employed in organizations. Flash mentoring sessions are one to one and Kerastase and Aspire For Her targets to help more than 300 women this single year.

In connection with Power Talks initiative that Kerastase has recently launched in India, an event of historical significance took place on May 14th in Mumbai. The showdown brought together a cohort of celebrated personalities; the Keynote speaker included the Bollywood actress and the face of Kerastase in India – Sonam Kapoor. The event was also attended by a couple of successful empowered women entrepreneurs like Ridhi  Khosla Jalan an Interiors Expert,  Ahana Gautam, Founder and CEO of Open Secret Snacks and Madhura  Dasgupta, Head – Aspire for Her. They had a helpful and motivational discussion on the theme of gender equality. Adding the glamour of the evening was a poet recital from Aranya Johar.

The decor and the entertainment performances that the night brought were quite engaging and lively. It is important to note that Kerastase introduced a Limited-Edition bottle of their Elixir Ultime Serum, featuring Power Talks logo, which speaks about the brand’s support for the cause.

Popular Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor expressed her views in the following words: “Social causes such as inclusiveness and equality for women are some of the issues that I have a passion for – In fact, when Kerastase, a brand that is dear to me, approached me to be a part of this event, I happily accepted the invitation; we as women have to support each other to help uplift society.”

“It is with great pleasure that I am announcing today Power Talks, a Kerastase international program designed to empower women and bring positive change,” said Anjali Pai, at Kerastase India before adding; ‘The main aim of this program is to help women come into their power so that they can change their lives and the lives of everyone around them.

Founder & CEO of Aspire For Her, Madhura Dasgupta Sinha reiterating on this proposition, expressed, “It is a delightful pleasure for me and my organisation Aspire For Her to partner with Kerastase to bridge the largest gap that any woman has to face in her corporate career  - the confidence gap The mentorship programme is opening up new avenues and opportunities as we set free a huge potential of women power for Our organization, Aspire For Her, strives to help one million women enter the labor market by 2025 and ten million by 2030 using communities’ strength. ”

Power Talks by Kerastase is another example of how the brand cares about women’s rights and social equity ensuring women to succeed and be protected, which should become the basis for building a better world for women all over the world.
