Kashmiri Women Entrepreneurs Secure Rs 75 Lakhs Funding to Fuel Startup Dreams

Nuzhat Qazi and Insha Mir, determined Kashmiri women entrepreneurs, have secured Rs 75 lakhs in funding through JKEDI and Startup India. Their success story highlights the potential of women in the region and the supportive ecosystem fostered by JKEDI.
The "Women for Startups" workshop, in collaboration with Startup India, DPIIT, and the Government of India, empowered aspiring women entrepreneurs. Nuzhat Qazi and Insha Mir serve as inspiring figures, and JKEDI takes pride in their achievements.
Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Director of JKEDI, expressed pride, stating, "We are extremely proud of their exceptional achievements, which highlight their dedication and innovative ideas." He emphasized the impact of their success in motivating future entrepreneurs and driving economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ashtha Grover, Head of Startup India, commended the overwhelming response from Jammu and Kashmir and the commitment to an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Rahul Narvekar, Founder and CEO of India Network, pledged mentorship and financial support. The funding enables Nuzhat Qazi and Insha Mir to scale their ventures and emphasizes the importance of supporting women in entrepreneurship.
The funding validates their hard work and underscores the need for a supportive ecosystem. Insha Mir expressed satisfaction, stating, "Such events provide exposure and a platform for businesses." Nuzhat Qazi highlighted the significance of networking opportunities and called for more events to empower aspiring female business leaders.
