Kanika Sharma Takes Charge as India HR Manager at BCG

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has appointed Kanika Sharma as India HR Manager, bringing her back to the firm after nearly five years at Bain & Company. In her new role, Kanika will lead Talent Acquisition and Contingent Workforce (CWR) for India. She brings experience in talent acquisition, campus hiring, leadership recruitment and human resources.

Kanika joins BCG after spending nearly five years with Bain & Company in Gurugram. She most recently served as Manager, Talent Acquisition & HR from March 2023 to May 2026. Before that, she was Campus Recruitment Lead, where she handled recruitment initiatives and further strengthened her expertise in talent acquisition and HR within the consulting industry.

This marks Kanika’s return to BCG, where she previously spent more than five years. From January 2016 to July 2021, she worked as Senior Specialist – Campus Recruiting Team. Her latest appointment expands her responsibilities at BCG, with a broader leadership mandate covering talent acquisition and contingent workforce management across India.

Prior to this, Kanika was working with the Corporate HR – Global Leadership Acquisition & Development Team at Tech Mahindra, where she led the recruitment process from the business schools of India for non-technical hiring. This experience has brought new methods of leadership acquisition and development into her HR career, in addition to her long and distinguished campus recruitment experience.

In his previous professional assignments, Kanika served as an intern at India Today, and as Audit Associate with EY, where he performed financial statement auditing and compliance assurance work. Her career has since shifted focus to Human Resources and Talent Acquisition in a variety of top-tier consulting and technology firms. She now joins BCG as India HR Manager bringing this experience.
