Invoicemart, India's leading Trade Receivable Discounting System platform, has partnered with the Grameen Foundation for Social Impact (GFSI) to provide value-added services to women-led MSMEs in India.
At present, Invoicemart has over 25,000 MSMEs registered on its platform, with 20 per cent of them being led by women. These MSMEs are eager to grow and are continuously seeking assistance to strengthen their ecosystem. Both organizations will assist early-stage female entrepreneurs in becoming investment- and market-ready through GFSI's Investment Readiness and Digital Transformation of Women-led Small Business (IRDT-WSB) program. This will be accomplished by assisting them in developing strong business plans and formalizing them, improving sales and marketing channels, boosting financial performance, enhancing customer engagement, and developing digital strategies.
"We believe that empowering women entrepreneurs is crucial for the economic development of our country," stated Prakash Sankaran, MD and CEO of Invoicemart. Through this collaboration, we hope to give these female business owners access to simple, affordable financing as well as mentor and assist them in spearheading the digital transformation necessary for them to be successful in the corporate sector.
"We are happy to announce our collaboration with Invoicemart – India's leading TReDS platform, to help women-led MSMEs establish a scalable business model through access to finance for their business," said Bharati Joshi, Chief Program Officer at GFSI.
