Indian Womens Football team in Group G to qualify for Paris 2024 Olympics

To enter the final tournament held in France, the women in blue need to get through three rounds of qualifying events.
The Asian qualifiers for the Olympic football tournament which is to be held in Paris in 2024 witnessed its draw for Round 1 on January 12, 2023. The Indian women's football team will begin its Summer Olympic qualifying campaign in Group G. The Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan, two Central Asian countries, will soon join the Indian women's team in the group.
The Indian women's football team is the favorite to qualify from Group G but they can still face some challenging situations. Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic are two strong footballing nations with excellent structures. Even though they are inexperienced in the field, they have the potential to surprise with their game.
There is only one position available in Group G, which consists of three teams. The team which qualifies in the Round 1 will proceed to Round 2 for the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Finals will be held between two Asian countries in Paris and will have teams from all over the world compete for the medals.
The Women's Asian Cup 2022 was hosted by India and now it wants to secure a position as the best women's football nation. Women footballers have the perfect opportunity to showcase their strength in the next Asian leg of the qualifying tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Last time the team reached Round 2 of the qualifiers, but this time they aim at winning their fifth Olympic campaign.
