Indian Women's junior Hockey team selected for African tour

On Tuesday, Hockey India announced the Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team for South Africa which will begin on 14 February 2023. Captain Preeti will lead the Indian team with Vice Captain Rutija Pisal will have their matches between the 17th and 25th of February.
The team’s front line comprises Deepika Soreng, Deepika, Taranpreet Kaur, Sunelita Toppo, Madugula Bhavani, and Annu. Manju Chorsiya, Hina Banu, Nikita Toppo, Hrithika Singh, Sakshi Rana, Jyoti Chhatri, and Rutuja Dadaso will be playing in the midfield.
India's defense line will include Preeti, Jyoti Sing, Neelam, Mahima Tete, and Mamita Oram.
The reserved players for the squad in addition to the 20 players are Aditi Maheshwari, Bhumiksha Sahu, Anjali Barwa, and Edula Jyothi.
