Indian Women's 10m Air Pistol Team wins Silver at Asian Games-23

In the women's 10m air pistol event at the Asian Games, Indian teen shooter Esha Singh led her team to grab a silver medal. Esha Singh, Palak, and Divya TS, three 18-year-old Indian athletes earned 1731 points in total to win the silver medal. Chinese Taipei won the bronze with a total of 1723 points, while China won the gold with a total of 1736 points, breaking the previous Asian Games record.

Both Esha Singh and Palak have secured their places for the eight-shooter final where they will compete for individual medals. Esha finished in Fifth place, Palak in seventh, and Divya in tenth position after the qualification round.

The top-scoring shooters advance to finals to compete for individual medals in the shooting event at the Asian Games, where the scores from the qualification round will decide the medalists.

Esha Singh showcased her exceptional gameplay during the Asian Games. She earned a silver medal as an individual in the women's individual 25m pistol competition earlier in the week along with the women's 10m air pistol team to victory.

Esha was a member of the trio that won a gold medal in the women's 25m pistol competition along with Manu Bhaker and Rhythm Sangwan.
