Indian Women Kabaddi Players participate in Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024

The Indian women's Kabaddi players are participating in the Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. From 20 February 20 to 26 February 2024, athletes from several states will compete in this historic event at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur.
The JSG-organized Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 aims to provide young, aspiring kabaddi players with a platform. This is a revolutionary move as it offers female players (under 75 kg) the chance to participate for the first time.
There will be 19 high-intensity matches with 120 players from six states (Rishikesh, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi).
Aravalli Arrows, Himalayan Tahrs, Palani Tuskers, Murthal Magnets, Periyar Panthers, and Panchala Pride are among the teams taking part.
The following is the tournament format:
There are two rounds in the week-long tournament:
Survival Round: Teams engage in a single preliminary round of round robin play from February 20–24.
The top four teams from the survival round compete for the title in the summit round, which takes place on February 25 to 26.
There is a prize pool of Rs 12.5 lakhs in total, Rs 5 lakhs for the winners, Rs 2.50 lakhs for the first runners-up, and Rs 1 lakh for the second runners-up. The Aravalli Arrows and Himalayan Tahrs are scheduled to face off in a match on Tuesday in the season opener. FanCode will live stream all the exciting action.
