Indian Players Smriti-Harmanpreet in Top 10 at ICC ODI Rankings

India's vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, has slipped one position to fourth in the ICC women's ODI batting rankings, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur climbed to ninth. Smriti maintained her top 10 position after an impressive performance against South Africa, amassing 343 runs in the three-match series, with 738 points. However, Deepti Sharma remained unchanged at 4th position with 671 rating points.
Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has made significant strides in her career, setting records for the fastest fifty in women's T20 internationals and scoring her sixth ODI century against South Africa. Her impeccable timing, strategic placement, and fearless stroke play have left spectators in awe, making her a legend in cricketing history.
Despite South Africa's 0-3 series loss, captain Laura Wolvaardt continued her ascent to the top spot, trailing England's No. 1 ranked batter Nat Sciver-Brunt by just 16 rating points. Laura's unbeaten 135 in Bengaluru and 65 in the final match. Marizanne Kapp climbed to seventh on the ODI batters list while, Jemimah Rodrigues positioned to 29th position, Nonkululek Mlaba to 22nd position, Kavisha Dilhari to 34th position, and Udeshika Prabodhani (up six spots to 22nd) also improved their rankings in the series against West Indies.
