Indian Batter Jemimah Rodrigues gets nominated for ICC 'Player of the Month'

Indian woman batter Jemimah Rodrigues has been nominated for the ICC Player of the month award. Her nomination comes on the heels of a brilliant performance in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games last month.

Along with Jemimah, Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath from the Australian team have also been nominated for the award.

A right-handed player, Jemimah was played key roles in India’s matches in the Commonwealth Games 2022 including a 56 run innings against Barbedos. With 146 runs in five matches, she was India's second-highest run-scorer at an average of 73.

Ben Stokes (England skipper), SikandarRaza(Zimbabwe), Mitchell Santner (New Zealand) have been chosen as the nominations for the men’s category for the Player of the month.
