Rupi Kaur, a resident of Chicago, was recently named Mrs. Illinois American 2022, becoming the first Indian American to do so. To compete for Mrs. American, she will travel to the Nationals in Las Vegas in August 2022. Since 2002, Rupi Kaur has lived in the USA. She moved to the US in 2002, and her ancestral home is Punjab. She has two children and is married. According to a press release from Asian Media USA, Kaur has a master's degree in business administration and has experience working with Fortune 500 companies.
She was highlighted in the Chicago Agent Magazine in the beginning of 2021. She is also a real estate agent connected to Coldwell Banker.
The press statement stated that Kaur manages to volunteer for numerous social service endeavours despite her busy job and family schedule, and that she enjoys travelling, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
Kaur has previously participated in pageants and fashion exhibitions. The empowerment of women is her platform. She is constantly looking for new possibilities since she thinks anything is possible in the United States. However, the press release cited her as adding, "Never take anything for granted in life; God always has a plan for everyone."
