India Women win by 10 Wickets in 3rd T20I Series against South Africa

India Women vs South Africa Women T20I series ended in a 1-1 draw after India won by 10 wickets in the 3rd match. The Indian women's cricket team's performance was impressive, with excellent bowling and openers. The series draw reflects the growing competitiveness in women's cricket and the increasing talent pool in both teams.

The first match of the series led victory to for Laura Woolvardt's South African team. The second match got washed out but the third match drove a win for the Indian women's team. Pooja Vastrakar's 'Special' performance on the pitch bowled out visitors for 84 runs that were chased by Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma in just 11 overs. Pooja's phenomenal gameplay earned her Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards.

During the post-match presentation, she mentioned, "It was an opportunity for me, and whatever I practiced in the nets-bowling wicket-to-wicket, I executed. Hard lengths helped me as well. The team felt I should be given the new ball as an opportunity and a responsibility. I wanted to pick up early wickets and give the team a good start-just what the team needed." She further added that the team aimed to perform well in the Asia Cup, executing their plans well and utilizing their strengths to achieve their goals.

Players with the highest runs during the T20I series are Tazmin Brits with 153 runs in 3 innings, Smriti Mandhana with 100 runs in 2 innings, Marizanne Kapp with 87 runs in 3 innings, Laura Woolvardt with 64 runs in 3 innings, and Anneke Bosch with 57 runs in 2 innings. Whereas, players with the highest wickets during the series are, Pooja Vastrakar with 8 wickets in 3 innings, Radha Yadav with 6 wickets in 3 innings, Deepti Sharma with 3 wickets in 3 innings, Shreyanka Patil with 2 wickets in 2 innings, and Chloe Lesleigh Tryon with 2 wickets in 1 inning.
