India to Play against Pakistan at ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Dubai

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a revised schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, moving it from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to logistical challenges, following a decision made in a recent meeting. The Women's T20 WC is all set to take place from 3 October 2024 to 20 October 2024.
10 teams will compete in 23 matches over 18 days at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the world's best T20 cricket tournament. The tournament will feature 10 teams divided into two groups:
Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland
Teams will play four group-stage matches across two venues, with the top two advancing to the semi-finals. Australia, the defending champions, will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on 5 October, followed by India-Pakistan on 6 October, and the ICC Women's T20 World Cup champions on 20 October. India will play in warm-up matches from September 28 to October 1, featuring against West Indies and South Africa.
