India's ICC Women's U19 World Cup winners to be felicitated by Sachin Tendulkar

Team India became the winners of the ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup on January 29, 2023, against South Africa making history. Shafali Verma was leading the team and was praised all over the nation for their exemplary performance on the cricket field. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar along with BCCI officials will felicitate the team at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In the final match, team India easily defeated England by seven wickets. The opponent team was knocked out of the game for just 68 runs in 17.1 overs by the Indian bowlers. Titas Sadhu bowled a fantastic score, grabbing two wickets in her four overs restricting the opponents from making just six runs. Both spinners, Parshavi Chopra and Archana Devi have also gained two wickets each. The target was easily achieved by Women in Blue.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and the committee members of the board will honor the World Cup winners U-19 Women's team at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 1, according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
