India offers a "spectrum of opportunities" to investors & business firms, says Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman told the executive officers of top U.S. companies that there is a “spectrum of opportunities” for the investors and business companies in India.
Sitharaman (62) met the executive officers of many of the top U.S. companies and informed them about the various programmes under the “AtmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative of the central government organised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She is currently in the capital of America to attend the annual meetings of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and the World Bank.
Apart from the meetings of both these institutions, she is also visiting the CEOs of many of the top U.S. companies who are interested in seizing investment opportunities in and around India.
The ministry pointed out that the areas connected with research and development, manufacturing automation, innovation, and nutrition were discussed during the meeting of Amway, Milind Pant.
The Finance Minister recently referred to the initiatives like the National Monetization Pipeline launching the National Infrastructure Master Plan and stocks of opportunity at GIFT City in Gujarat.
The minister underlined the functioning of the company in India since 1998 and its desire to invest in the following years.
Sitharaman’s meeting with the Chief Strategy Officer, B. Marc Allen, had extensive discussions about skills, innovations, research and development, the aerospace sector, and manufacturing development.
In initiatives like Make In India and AtmaNirbhar Bharat, she underlined the association of the Boeing and interest of the company in the years to come.
During her meeting with the CEO of Novavax, Stanley Erck, Sitharaman spoke on Indian Initiatives to improve medical science in research and development, health and welfare, and a chance of growth at GIFT City in Gujarat.
She underlines the interest of the company in investing in the coming years in India.
