'Women in Engineering', will be a two-day International Leadership Summit (ILS) hosted by the Jhalwa Campus, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) beginning on October 15.
IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit (IEEE WIE ILS) 2023: Igniting Innovation and Empowering Leadership is the theme of the IEEE-sponsored program.
The two-day event, according to Dr Pragya Singh who is the Head of the Management Studies Department at IIIT-A and program coordinator, mentioned that it will be an inspiring and informative experience, bringing together some prominent speakers, eminent delegates, and participants from around the world.
On October 15, 2023, the Summit will be inaugurated by dignitaries including Professor Mukul S Sutaone, Director, IIIT-A, Professor Seema Singh, Vice Chancellor, UPRTOU, Pallavi Rai, Deputy Director, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports, Gwalior, Professor RS Verma, Director, MNNIT Allahabad, Professor SN Singh, Director, IIITM Gwalior.
During the two-day event, prominent speakers from around the world will participate in an online meeting that will include Professor Celia Shahnaz of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Professor Takakao Hashimoto of Futurewei Technologies, and other representatives from the IEEE Standards Association.
According to Dr. Pragya Singh, more than 150 registrations have been received so far and they aim to shape the future of women in the engineering sector together.
