The 3rd edition of the Global Women Health Innovation Conference & Awards 2024, dedicated to addressing women's healthcare in India through technology is set to be organized on 11 December 2024 in Mumbai. In order to manage this mega event, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Koita Centre for Digital Health (KCDH), which will drive discussions on digital health tools like telemedicine, wearable devices, and AI-driven health analytics. These technologies can improve health outcomes by providing personalized, accessible, and data-driven solutions.

The conference, aimed at promoting women's health, will include the Young Innovators Showcase, and GWHIC Awards, aligning with India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission's goal of a robust digital health infrastructure. Professor Ganesh Ramakrishnan, Professor-in-Charge, KCDH mentioned, "The Centre is committed to playing a leading role in digital health and informatics and is aligned with India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) which aims to "develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. Creating a more equitable and stronger digital health ecosystem for women requires strong focus and collaboration across key stakeholders. The conference aligns very well with our vision and initiatives designed to address the challenges in healthcare in India."

The Global Women's Health Innovation Conference & Awards 2024 features a Young Innovators Showcase, GWHIC Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Women's Health, and a Student Innovation Abstract Challenge to inspire young students and educational institutions.
