Honeywell India organized its LeadHERs in Commercial event earlier today at its Gurgaon campus, where it got together more than 100 women professionals from various backgrounds such as sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and customer-facing roles.

This year's theme, "Breaking Barriers, Building Business," was centered on women's leadership role in driving changes in hitherto male-dominated industries such as Automation, Oil & Gas, and Energy.

In addition to facilitating learning, the conference also served as a networking platform, information exchange, and forum for discussion on developing inclusive business ecosystems.

One of the highs was the panel session, "Breaking Barriers – Women Leading Commercial Excellence," moderated by Deepti Vij, Director, Talent Acquisition, Honeywell.

The panel featured industry veterans such as Ajay Khera (Ex-Commercial Head – India, Technip Energies), Shally Verma (Business Development Leader, Rockwell India), Nandini Singh (Partner & Executive Director, IBM), and Pavitra Venkatraman (Partner Development, GSI, Microsoft).

The conference also included Shaili Chopra, co-founder of SheThePeople and Gytree, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, and Ritu Jerath, global customer experience leader and women's leadership champion. Both discussed fearlessly disrupting norms and creating new possibilities for women in business.
