HCL's Roshni Nadar Becomes Fifth Richest Woman Globally on Hurun Global Rich List 2025

Roshni Nadar, Chairperson of HCL Technologies, has garnered a place among the ranks of the richest women in the world, ranking at the fifth position on the Hurun Global Rich List for 2025 with a net worth of Rs 3.5 lakh crore. 

Her father, Shiv Nadar, gave a 47 percent stake in HCL Technologies to his daughter, thereby enabling her entry into the ranks of India's Top 10 wealthiest, a lone woman in that list. Roshni has been recognized since 2020 for her leadership of HCL Technologies in the IT sector and worthy philanthropic work. By virtue of this feat, she enters the ranks of a select few powerful businesswomen around the globe, so making her presence felt on both the national and international front. 

Roshni, born in 1982, has been leading HCL Technologies since 2020 holding a BA in Communication from Northwestern University, Illinois, USA, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.  

She serves on several prominent advisory boards, including the Dean's Advisory Council at MIT School of Engineering and the committee of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). She is also a director of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), which attests to her commitment to environmental sustainability. She is married to Shikhar Malhotra, Vice Chairman, HCL Healthcare

Besides her business activities, Roshni is also actively involved in philanthropy through her work with the Shiv Nadar Foundation.
