HAL Hosts Very First 'Tejasvi' National Women's Conference

  • Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), along with the HAL (B) Families Welfare Association, organised the first National Women’s Conference ‘Tejasvi’
  • The conference theme was "Women Who Create Radiance at Home and in the Workplace"
  • The course highlighted the women's role and contribution at both personal and professional levels

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and HAL (B) Families Welfare Association co-hosted their very first National Women’s Conference, ‘Tejasvi’, at the HAL Management Academy, with the theme of "Women Who Create Radiance at Home and Workplace".

This 'National Woman Conference' aimed to shine a light on women within the context of their personal lives and the aspects of their capable and very real professional careers.

Manisha Chandra, IAS, Joint Secretary (Aero), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, was the Chief Guest at the Conference.

During her presentation, while she shared thoughts related to the scope of RADIANCE, she also shared values of-RADIANCE, Radiant capable, Authentic, Dedicated, Intelligent, Adaptable, Nurturing, Creative, and Empathetic.

The programme also had the launch of a Golden Jubilee Postal Cover to mark the 50th year of welfare activities undertaken by HAL (B) Families Welfare Association. An array of illustrious speakers, such as Padma Shri Dr. Vijayalakshmi Deshmane, Dr. Bhavani Rao, and Satyabhama Gupta spoke about challenges such as leadership, sustenance, sustainabile finance, and life work balance

There were more than 350 women delegates from HAL, defence organisations, and CPSEs from across India, participating in interactive sessions and engaging in networking activities.
