Gujarat Giants secured their first win of the season with a successful chase of 144 runs set by UP Warriorz, despite a shaky start at 2-2. The victory was driven by captain Ashleigh Gardner’s second consecutive half-century, alongside key contributions from Harleen Deol and Deandra Dottin.

Sophie Ecclestone (2) was dismissed by Kashvee Gautam. Despite a late push from Alana King (19 not out) and Saima Thakor (15), UP finished with 143 for 9.
