Golden Jubilee Biotech Park to Seed Fund Women Entrepreneurs

Chennai-based Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women Society calls for proposals from female entrepreneurs. The park at Siruseri, Chennai was established in 2001 to promote female entrepreneurship and address the financial need of the entrepreneurs through incubators.
Government of India’s BIRAC has provided the capital for establishing a seed fund to be deployed as equity into new women-run technology enterprises, reported The New Indian Express. Female entrepreneurs of Indian nationality from India holding 51 percent or more equity in a private limited company incorporated in India as a startup, startups who have proof of concept ready and supported by completed IP filings, startups working in the field of cutting-edge technologies like biotechnology, med-tech, food-tech, environmental sciences, industrial biotech and others can apply for the fund to service@biotechpark.co.in with a complete application form.
The last date for applying is February 15, 2021.
As per the website of the Park, startups should be associated with its incubation centre for minimum of 180 days post being selected.
