Global Investors Summit 2025 to be Held in Bhopal featuring 3000+ Women Delegates

The Global Investors Summit 2025, which will take place in Bhopal on February 24-25, will feature around 3,000 women delegates, including industrialists, investors, MSMEs, and startups. The two-day GIS event is organized by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (MPIDC) for 22,000 delegates, including representatives from MSME, textile, food processing, and skill development units.

Notable women include such as CEO of Parle Agro Schauna Chauhan; Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Vardhman Textiles Suchita Oswal; Deputy Country director, of Asian Development Bank, Aarti Mehra; Co-founder and CEO of Sav, a fintech App from Dubai, Purvi Munot; Bina Trivedi Partner ITI Growth Opportunities Fund; and Ishita Modi, Executive Director, Alesco Surgipharma Pvt Ltd.

MPIDC officials say that the state government hopes its robust startup sector will attract investors at GIS. With 47 per cent of 5,000 startups owned by women, the state employs over 50,000 people across 55 districts. Additionally, the state has 16 lakh MSMEs employing 86 lakh people across the state, with an investment of Rs 53,000 crore.

With 16 lakh MSMEs, MP ranks seventh in registered MSMEs. They work in various industries including food processing, drug manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, automobiles, and engineering. The state has a Startup Capital Fund worth Rs 10 crore, offering funding and mentorship to startups, particularly encouraging women and socially disadvantaged individuals to launch them.
