Girls Showcase Higher pass rate than boys in Tamil Nadu HSE 2023 Results

In comparison to the previous year, Tamil Nadu school pupils saw a modest improvement in the class 12 pass rate, with 94.03% passing the exams this time around. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the minister of education for schools, announced the findings.
8,03,385 pupils in all, comprising 4,21,013 females, 3,82,371 boys, and one transgender student, took the exams this year, with 7,55,451 of them passing. 8,06,277 pupils took the test the previous year. 755,998 (93.76%) of these did so successfully. 2,767 of the 7,533 upper secondary schools reported 100% pass rates this year.
Government schools had a pass rate of 89.80, aided schools of 95.99, and private schools of 99.08. For co-ed schools, it was 94.39%, for women's schools, it was 96.04%, and for men's schools, it was 87.79%. Girls had a pass rate that was 4.93% greater than males. Last year, this was 5.36 percent.
Viruthunagar district, with a pass rate of 97.85 percent, kept its top spot. The following two places were held by the districts of Tirupur (97.79%) and Perambalur (97.59%). Last year, Viruthunagar recorded a pass rate of 97.27%.
