Ashmita Chaliha tops the Asian Games trials for BAI

Ashmita Chaliha and Kidambi Srikanth topped the list for BAI Asian Games selection trials in women's and men's singles, respectively. During the six matches, both players had matches over the course of four-day trials. Both the players were undefeated during the matches.

Lakshya Sen clinched the second position with his only loss coming against Kidambi, and Mithun Manjunath, the national champion, came as third. Malvika Bansod came in third position and Anupama Upadhyaya placed second in the women's singles competition. For the remaining three seats, nine men's singles players and eight women's singles players have entered the trials.

Odhisa defeats the Lords, and Sethu maintains the perfect record:

Sethu Madurai FC defeated Central Reserve Police Force Football Club 5-0 in a Group B match to keep their perfect record in the Indian Women's League. Sethu's position at the top of the group was strengthened with the victory.

Odisha FC defeated Lords FA Kochi, 5-0, in their debut. Celtic Queens FC was defeated by Kickstart FC 5-0.
