Ruby Sinha succeeds Shabana Nasim, who has been designated the Executive Director of BRICS CCI and Chief Patron of BRICS CCI WE. The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) has appointed her to a three-year term as president of BRICS CCI WE, the organization's women's vertical.

Ruby, who is also an entrepreneur, established Kommune Brand Communications and SheAtWork, a resource hub for women in business. Business partnerships, trade, and commerce between the BRICS and its allies are encouraged through the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In a statement announcing the appointment, Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, Director-General-BRICS CCI, said: "We firmly believe that Ruby's vision, strategic acumen, and dedication will elevate the women's vertical to new heights of success and significantly contribute to the overall objective of the Chamber."

Ruby succeeds Shabana Nasim, who has been designated the Executive Director of the BRICS CCI and Chief Patron of the BRICS CCI WE.

She continued, "Leading the women's vertical for the BRICS CCI at this time when the G20 is focusing on gender-based digital inclusivity and skilling and PM's idea that this decade would be a Techade is a privilege for me."

Trade and industry are promoted in the BRICS and other friendly nations via a parent organisation called BRICS CCI. The chamber was founded in 2012 and is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. According to the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the BRICS CCI is a registered organisation with Niti Aayog and is approved by the Indian government.

The BRICS CCI's Women Vertical was created with a major focus on global legislation and initiatives for women's empowerment. The women's wing wants to create a global network of services for female professionals and business owners.
