Five Pink Polling Booths in UP to be Managed by All Women Team

District magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has stated that five pink booths would be set up in Dadri,
Dankaur, Bilaspur, Jewar and Jahangirpur for the upcoming urban local body elections. These five booths will be completely managed by women.      

In Dankaur, the booth will be set up in Lal Bihari Inter College, in Dadri the pink booth will set up at Vedic Inter College, IN Rajendra Inter College in Bilaspur, the primary school in Jewar and Public Inter College in Jahangirpur.

“The booths will be completely managed by women. The security will also be taken care of by women cops. The staff and polling team can wear dresses of any colour, not necessarily pink,” said District magistrate Manish Kumar Verma.

The Nagar Palika Parishad elections will take place in Dadri. Alternately, Rabupura, Bilaspur, Jahangirpur, Jewar and Dadri will have panchayat polls.
