FICCI FLO hosts 'Trade Connect' fostering Inclusive Community of Women Entrepreneurs

The FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) recently organized a Trade Connect event at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi where around 50 women entrepreneurs from its 20 chapters across India showcased their products and services. The event included interactive sessions with representatives from 17 countries, including Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Peru, Sri Lanka, the USA, the UK, Egypt, and Tunisia.

The theme for the Trade Connect event 2024-25 was "Collective Vision, Collaborative Action." 41st National President of FICCI FLO, Joyshree Das Verma explains that this year's theme focuses on building a strong inclusive community for sustainable progress that will promote individual businesses and career growth inspiring the new members. The President mentions "FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) an organization with over 12,000 members across 20 chapters with headquarters in Delhi has created an enduring impact on the lives of countless women across India, from seasoned entrepreneurs to those taking their first steps into business." She added, "FLO has been a constant force, lifting barriers, promoting independence, and expanding opportunities for women from all walks of life."

The trade event highlighted handloom products from Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand, Jewellery from Kolkata, beauty products from Uttar Pradesh, and services from Delhi. Key services from significant sectors were showcased including textiles, apparel, handicrafts, food processing, IT & digital services, health & wellness products, sustainable & eco friendly products, tourism and hospitality industry.
