Droupadi Murmu at Bengaluru Women's Conference: 'Dream Big, Break Barriers'

Droupadi Murmu visited Bengaluru to inaugurate the 10th International Women’s Conference, hosted by The Art of Living International Center. During her address, the President of India urged women to embrace fearlessness, set bold goals, and fully unlock their potential to achieve their dreams. She highlighted the crucial role of resilience and determination in overcoming challenges on the path to success.
She was welcomed at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Airport by Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot.
The President was in the city to inaugurate the 10th International Women’s Conference. The conference was hosted by The Art of Living International Center.
The high-profile event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, Chief Secretary Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Lieutenant General J.K. Gera, Karnataka DGP Alok Mohan, Secretary of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Satyavathi G, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, and Bengaluru District Collector Jagadeesh G. In addition to these key figures, many other senior officials were also present at the event, adding to its significance and stature.
President emphasized the importance of mental strength in breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes. She urged every woman to gather courage, dream big, and utilize all her strength and potential to achieve her dreams.
She stated that; every little step taken by women towards their goals contributes to a developed India and a developed world. She also highlighted that advances in technology have led to a better quality of life.
