Dr. Somdutta Singh, CEO and Founder of Assiduus, named as Finalist in VentureBeat's Women in AI Leadership Awards

In the AI Entrepreneur category of the Women in AI Leadership Awards given by VentureBeat, Dr. Somdutta Singh, founder and CEO of Assiduus Global Inc., a global multi-marketplace e-commerce accelerator for direct-to-consumer companies, was chosen a finalist.
Singh is an angel investor, best-selling author, serial entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Assiduus Global is her third business endeavour; her other two ventures were successfully acquired. She won the coveted Indian Achievers' Award, was selected to the Times of India 40 Under 40 list the previous year, and will be among Fortune India's 50 most influential businesswomen in 2020.
Singh belongs to the prestigious Entrepreneurs' Organization, the Forbes Business Council, and Indiaspora, the biggest diaspora organisation for Indians worldwide.
She was the first woman of Indian descent to serve on the board of Philip Kotler's Kotler Impact and served as the youngest and only chosen female vice-chairperson of the NASSCOM Product Council. Singh is the author of two best-selling books, Decoding Digital: Unlocking Digital Barriers and Stories from New India: Policies, Hope and Change. Singh assisted the Indian government in creating the innovative Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) by NITI Aayog.

The recipient of the AI Entrepreneur Award will be a woman who founded businesses with a strong AI focus. The following criteria will be taken into account: commercial traction, the technology solution, and effect in the AI market. Winners are chosen for their dedication to the sector, efforts to broaden diversity in the industry, and beneficial impact on the neighbourhood.
The Transform Data and AI Executive Summit, the premier applied AI event for enterprise business and technology decision makers, is organised by VentureBeat and will award the winners of the Women in AI Leadership Awards on July 19 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
