The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has disclosed plans to organize a quiz competition specifically targeting women voters. This initiative is part of the centenary birth anniversary celebrations commemorating former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.
The announcement was made by the current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin, through a video release on social media. The quiz competition, aptly titled 'Kalaignar 100 vinadi vina,' is scheduled to commence on September 15th, coinciding with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai.
The competition promises to be intellectually stimulating, featuring a remarkable 10,000 questions focused on various aspects of DMK's history, ideologies, and policies. To ensure broad accessibility, the quiz will be hosted on the dedicated website Kalaignar100.com.
The competition will be held in two categories, catering to different age groups: under-18 and above-18. DMK Member of Parliament Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, who also serves as the secretary of the women's wing, will be leading and supervising the competition.
This initiative showcases the DMK's commitment to engaging with the women electorate, offering a platform for them to participate actively and enhance their understanding of the party's legacy, principles, and contributions to Tamil Nadu's political landscape. It reflects the party's dedication to empowering and involving women in the democratic process through knowledge and information-sharing.
