Diverse Cinema Founder SwetaRai Wins Women Impact Tech award

SwetaRai, CEO and Founder of Diverse Cinema, was conferred with the 'Women Impact Tech' award. She was chosen among top 50 American women in San Francisco and Sweta was listed in the technology sector for bringing diverse voices forward in cinema. Sweta will receive the award in San Francisco on March 21, 2023.

The complete list of awardees of the ‘top 50 American women in San Francisco’was published in on the momentous occasion of American Business Women's Day. It day honors the accomplishments of businesswomen across the U.S., pushing through barriers of male-dominated work spaces. This inaugural list honours‘the standout women who are going above and beyond, making strides to promote diversity & inclusion and gender equity in the tech space and leading the charge for the next generation of women to thrive’.

Sweta's company, Diverse Cinema is an OTT streaming channel that aims to promote diverse, underrepresented voices in cinema. Launched across 70 countries Diverse Cinema also supports independent filmmakers and development of an NFT marketplace which is solely dedicated to bringing Immigrant, Black, Latino, Asian, Indian, LGBTQIA+, Indigenous and Cross-culture unheard stories to a worldwide platform.
