Department of Women & Child Development Conducts Meeting on Workplace Sexual Harassment faced by Women

A meeting was held on the Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, in a district-level meeting which was organized by the Department of Women and Child Development, Golaghat with all the delegates of the concerned departments on Tuesday in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat.

Prominent delegates such as Dr. Neha Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-I/C SDO(C), Bokakhat & WDC, Golaghat have presided over the meeting. The attendees were provided an overview of the Act by Jupi Saikia who is a gender specialist at the District Hub for Empowerment of Women, and Gauri Priya Deori, (I/C) DSWO of Golaghat.

All the heads of the line departments, as well as the representatives from POSHAN, DHEW, and ICDS projects, marked their presence at the meeting.
