Dentsu International elevates Divya Karani to lead Media as CEO

Dentsu International, the global media and marketing communications conglomerate, has announced key leadership changes in India as part of its global organisational redesign. Divya Karani, the CEO of dentsu X India, has been appointed the network's new CEO for media in South Asia. Densu X, Carat, iProspect, and Posterscope are among the media agencies represented. Karani will be in charge of driving the global media plan and distribution in South Asia, as well as ensuring that it is aligned and relevant to the industry. Divya will continue to report into Bhadkamkar.
The network has also appointed Kartik Iyer, erstwhile president - Media Brands and Amplifi will now join the network’s market leadership team as its chief operating officer (COO). Iyer will continue to report to Anand Bhadkamkar, Dentsu's CEO in India, and will play a key role in the company's new business model's implementation in the region.

In South Asia, the United Kingdom, and the Asia Pacific, Divya has led agency networks, marketer ecosystems, and media ecosystems for over three decades. Since 2011, she has been a member of the Dentsu Advertising and Media Services Board of Directors, as well as the Board of Directors of Jagran Prakashan.
