D2C Insider Summit Empowers Women Entrepreneurs for Business Success

The recently concluded D2C Insider Women Summit held in New Delhi marked a significant milestone for India's burgeoning Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector. With a robust gathering of over 350 women D2C founders from across the country, the summit served as a platform for industry luminaries and experts to delve into topical discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

The event was graced by prominent figures like Naiyya Saggi of Good Glam Group, Ainara of Belora, and Soumya Kant of Clovia, who engaged in insightful panel discussions on key themes. Participants were enriched by a range of activities including 8 workshops, the exploration of 13 product stalls, and engaging sessions like Pitchathon. Moreover, the summit featured an intriguing fireside chat with Priyanka Chaudhary Raina and Shereen Bhan, fostering meaningful interactions over dinner and drinks.

At the core of this event is D2C Insider, a vital community connector for over 5,000 D2C brand founders, investors, and industry professionals. Supported by renowned industry leaders such as Arjun Vaidya of V3 Ventures, Aman Gupta of BOAT, and Ghazal Alagh of MamaEarth, D2C Insider remains committed to facilitating essential discussions and advancements within the dynamic D2C sector.

The summit's Pitchathon spotlighted emerging startups, with 'Uptownie' and 'Barneys' emerging as top performers among the 6 shortlisted out of 40 applicants. These winners received a prize of Rs 10 lakhs each from collaborators AWS and Contlo. Esteemed professionals, including Archana Jahagirdar and Pooja Shirali, composed the jury.

The event witnessed an array of stimulating panel discussions, including insights on "From Startup to Acquisition" and "Breaking the Glass Ceiling." A session on "Celebrity/Influencer Led Marketing" rounded out the discourse, all emphasizing innovation and collaboration in the D2C sector.
