CREDAI should Promote 1st Generation Female Developers Urges Smriti Irani

Smriti Irani, the minister for Women's & Children's development, requested on Monday that CREDAI, the relator's association should support the first generation of female real estate developers.
Smriti addressed the people present at the CREDAI Women and Youth Leadership Summit in the city. She urged the builders to prioritize the affordability of real estate projects without sacrificing the quality of the building.
Smriti questioned the recently elected CREDAI-National President Boman Irani, about how many CREDAI or non-CREDAI female developers is he aware of. What is he doing as CREDAI to include more women developers into the business that too who are first-generation business leaders?
Smriti even advised the President to include 100 new female developers in the nation during his tenure of 2023-2025.
President Boman Irani mentioned that he would encourage CREDAI to provide opportunities for young people including women to become first-generation real estate developers. According to him, the organization is focused on sustainable development and will become carbon neutral by 2050.
Boman Irani even stated that around 10,000 students from families of construction workers who want to pursue their studies in engineering, architecture, and other related streams would be identified by the organization’s women’s wing and will be provided support.
The Youth and Women's Wing will be chaired by Gaurav Thakkar. The aim of this wing is to improve the services for children of workers on construction sites which will include education, creche facilities, and health checkups.
