The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) is all set to host the Women’s International Summit on Entrepreneurship (WISE) & B2B Expo 2025 on February 28 and March 1 at the Engineering Staff College in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This event is designed to empower women entrepreneurs by fostering networking opportunities, sharing knowledge, and encouraging business collaborations.

WISE 2025, funded by the International Cooperation Scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to foster technological innovation and promote sustainable business growth.

Women-led enterprises are vital to India’s economy, contributing around 13.5 to 15 percent of the GDP. They also account for 20 percent of MSMEs and employ more than 23 percent of the workforce. The theme of WISE 2025, "Innovation, Sustainability, and Cross-Border Collaboration," emphasizes the importance of adopting innovative practices, promoting eco-friendly initiatives, and fostering global partnerships.

The event will include keynote speeches, engaging panel discussions, and interactive workshops, offering women entrepreneur’s practical strategies for thriving in the global market. It will also serve as a platform to showcase businesses, build new partnerships, and gain insights from industry experts.

The summit will be inaugurated by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, with Sridhar Babu, Minister for Industry and Commerce, and Konda Surekha, Minister for Environment and Forests, serving as Guests of Honor.

Industry leaders, including Tarun Agarwal from Maruti Suzuki and Mohamed Omar Badran from GIZ Germany, will discuss emerging technologies, electric mobility, and sustainability. Key topics to be covered include AI, IoT, blockchain, renewable energy, and global supply chains. Additionally, sessions on government initiatives like ONDC and GEM will offer valuable insights into using digital platforms for business growth.

WISE 2025 will also feature a B2B Expo, designed to connect women entrepreneurs with corporate and PSU procurement teams. The expo aligns with the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, which requires three percent of procurement to come from women-owned businesses. Structured B2B meetings will offer opportunities for partnerships and investments.
