  • Club Mahindra has transformed its Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-managed property
  • The resort is the first all-women-managed resort in the entire Club Mahindra portfolio
  • The move is a testament to Club Mahindra's strong belief in gender diversity and inclusion

Club Mahindra, market leader of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, has introduced a pioneering concept by converting its Acacia Palms resort in Goa into an all-women-managed resort. It is the first of its kind in the Club Mahindra chain and reflects the brand's firm commitment towards gender diversity, inclusion, and women empowerment.

All five departments of the resort's operations are now headed by women. The staff comprise professionals from all walks of life in hospitality, most of whom are pursuing men's traditional roles, including security officers, technical staff (electric and mechanical), and horticultural experts.

Manoj Bhat, MD & CEO, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, highlighted the significance of this decision: "We take great pride in announcing that our Acacia Palms Resort in Goa is now managed completely by women—a testament to our dedication towards gender diversity, inclusion, and empowerment."

Tanvi Choksi, Chief Human Resources Officer, added, “Inclusion at Mahindra Holidays goes beyond intent. We’re building an environment where women can thrive, grow, and lead in all areas—including those historically dominated by men—offering guests a unique experience while reshaping the future of hospitality.”

The all-female model of the resort is further supplemented by partnerships with neighborhood ladies entrepreneurs and artisans. Their skills and products are incorporated into the operations of the resort, increasing sustainability and benefitting the neighborhood.
