CII IWN AP Appoints Usha Pantula as its New Chairperson

- Usha Pantula is elected as Chairwoman, while Sudha Mavuri is elected as Vice Chairwoman
- Usha Pantula has over 20 years of experience in corporate training and a Ph.D. in Change Management from Andhra University
The Confederation of Indian Industry's Women Network Indian Chapter has appointed its new leadership group for 2026-27. Usha Pantula has been elected as Chairwoman and Sudha Mavuri has been chosen as Vice Chairwoman.
Usha Pantula is an Independent Consultant, specializing in Corporate Training. She is also a Ph.D. from Andhra University in Change Management and brings over 20 years' experience in the field of Corporate Training.
Usha is currently a Resource Person with the IIM-Vizag and has also held teaching positions at both the ICFAI and GITAM Universities.
In addition to being a very strong advocate for Gender Equity, Usha is also an external member of Internal Committees for 14 different organizations, and Co-Leader of the Mentoring Pillar for IWN Southern Region.
Sudha Mavuri brings over 25 years' experience to her positions in Academia, where she is a specialised educator in the Management Education, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Partnerships.
IWN-AP organised a session for their members called "She Builds - Women Entrepreneurs Powering India's Next Economy." Usha Pantula, Chairwoman of IWN - AP, presented their Annual Report and spoke about IWN's initiatives.
Newly-elected officers of CII Andhra Pradesh: Chairman Narendra Kumar Saranam and Vice chairman G Sambasiva Rao, recently met with Kondapalli Srinivas (Minister for MSME; SERP NRI Empowerment & Relations) and TG Bharath at the Secretariat to discuss enhancing ease of doing business, supporting MSME development, and creating investment opportunities.
Kondapalli asked CII to help strengthen Self-Help Groups by providing market linkages, capacity building, and promoting women-led enterprise development through the existing Memorandum of Understanding between CII & AP MSMEDC.
The Minister encouraged CII to use previously executed MOUs from the 2025 CII Partnership Summit and the Joint Consultative Forum with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to bring in greater investment.
