Bipasha wins silver, while Sanju and Bhateri compete for gold at Junior Wrestling World Championships

Bipasha (76kg) of India won a silver medal, while Sanju Devi and Bhateri will compete for gold in the 62kg and 65kg categories, respectively, at the Junior Wrestling World Championships in Ufa, Russia, on Thursday.
Simran (50kg) and Sito (55kg) added bronze medals to India's total. Due to an injury, Arju forfeited her 68kg bronze play-off, while Saneh in the 72kg category will compete for bronze on Friday.

Bipasha quickly lost her final due to technical superiority to America's Kylie Renee Welker. Sanju made an incredible comeback from a 0-5 deficit to defeat Azerbaijan's Birgul Soltanova 8-5. She will compete for gold against Alina Kasabieva of Russia.
To reach the title match, Bhateri in 65kg defeated Tunisia's Jlassi Khadija and Romania's Amina Roxana Capezan. She will compete against Moldovan Irina Ringaci.
Simran won the 50kg bronze medal by defeating Natallia Varakina of Belarus 7-3. Sito won the 55kg bronze medal with a dominant technical superiority victory over Melda Derenkci of Turkey.
