Aroha & HCL Foundation Host 3-Day Skill-Building Workshop for Women in Nagpur

NGO Aroha, in collaboration with the HCL Foundation, conducted a three-day capacity-building programme for women from the stitching cluster of INFED, IIM Nagpur, during March 27-29. The programme was attended by 25 women actively participating in order to improve their skills.

The training session was launched by Sridarakishore Subramanian, Associate Vice-President of HCL Tech, with dignitaries like Piyush Wankhede (Manager, Uday HCL Foundation), Shivaji Shriram Dhawad (COO, INFED IIM Nagpur), Vishakha Rao (President, Aroha), and Sharmistha Gandhi (CEO, Aroha) present.

The inaugural day of the programme was dedicated to establishing a foundation, with sessions on cluster development, communication skills, and digital literacy by experts Payal Nagpure and Aniruddha Athavle. Day two included interactive sessions on 'Skills of Success' and 'Production, Planning & Efficiency, facilitated by Aniruddha Athavle and Rohan Bhamkar, with a focus on experiential learning and real-world business practices.

On the last day, Aniruddha Athavle and CA Raghav Gokhale conducted sessions on 'Business Development Requirements' and 'Financial & Business Management' and gave insightful presentations on important business strategies. The programme ended with a valedictory function, during which certificates were given to the participants and feedback was taken by Ashish Sahane, Secretary of Aroha.
